"Passionate about traditional and modern signalling design"
Matthew Grayston first joined British Rail as a trainee S&T maintenance technician in 1991. After transferring to the Great Western Minor Works design department in 1994 Matt quickly established himself as a lead and then senior designer working on a varied portfolio of projects. Since 2013 Matt has operated his own signalling design consultancy and has worked for a large number of organisations on major re-signalling schemes. He now brings his wealth of knowledge and industry contacts to Gray Court Signalling.
Ian joined Amey Rail in 2001 as a signalling design engineer after graduating from the University of Bristol Physics department. After moving to Owen Williams in 2003 he quickly established himself as a key member of the small design team and was appointed CRE for the S&C renewals as well as developing a passion for schemes design and development. Since 2010 Ian has run a signalling design consultancy and has had the opportunity to work on London Underground as well as being CRE for major mainline re-signalling schemes.
